Sight Loss Information Line

The Sight Loss Information Line is a Lottery-funded project delivered in partnership with Vision Support, NHS England, Cheshire West & Chester Council, East Cheshire Eye Society, and Cheshire East Council.

How We Can Help

The Sight Loss Information Line is a first point of contact for people living in Cheshire who have a vision impairment and need information, guidance, or support. We provide personalised signposting to services that can help you live well with sight loss, at a time when support is needed most.

Support Available

Our experienced Sight Loss Information Officers can connect you with a wide range of services, including:

  • Person-centred counselling
  • Benefits advice and support
  • Companionship through home visiting
  • Creative and active social groups
  • Technology and digital support

Support may be provided by Vision Support or through trusted external organisations.

We have been made aware that there are a rising number of cases of measles in Cheshire West.

If your child is unwell with a rash and fever and needs to be seen, you may be asked to wait outside your GP surgery prior to their appointment.

If your child has missed an MMR vaccination or they have not been vaccinated please contact your GP reception to book an appointment. It’s never too late.
